| Central Florida a sauna -- compared to North Dakota
Compared to Bismarck, and other cities in the Midwest and Northeast, Central Florida is a sauna. Yet this region is in for a chilly stretch, at least by our standards. Temperatures tonight and Saturday morning are forecast to plummet into the upper 30s. The National Weather Service has posted a wind chill advisory through 9 a.m. today, as the feels-like temperature could drop into the 20s. Then, through much of next week, morning lows should be in the low 40s and afternoon highs in the 60s. That's pretty brisk, but not nearly as cold as some other places around the nation. Check out these readings, as of 5 a.m. today: Minneapolis: 18 degrees below zeroChicago: 15 degrees below zeroKansas City: 10 degreesNew York: 12 degreesAtlanta: 14 degrees .
